Nepal Customs regulations permit arriving Nepali citizens who have resided abroad to carry up to 50 grams of personal gold jewellery duty-free. An additional 150 grams of jewellery may be imported upon payment of prescribed customs duties at the airport. Raw unworked gold bars are subject to strict import licensing and cannot be cleared under passenger baggage.
